Located West of Oakland on Honeysuckle Road (G42) and walk south to Big Grove Cemetery, use grassy lane west of fence at edge of field. Flat walk. Mud if wet. Can drive if dry.
Typical rubbermaid container. Contains some 4-H items, some flag braclets. Log Book. Cemetery is from 1860. Has a Civil War Veteran Star. Information on history and newspaper clipping of mammoth bones found on the hill while the highway was prepared for hard surfacing. Do not use private drive of home east of site. Our travel bug is "Clover Bear". We want him to travel like in the Dr. Suess book "Oh the Places You'll Go". We want to know about those places and the people that take him.
