Geocache Description:

Cache along a well established trail near the canal, originally placed for my daughter's brownie troop.

Cache is along the crescent trail in Perinton. Short walk along a well travelled trail. Cache is a 50 caliber ammo can.

This cache was originally placed for my daughter's brownie troop to find. It is filled with items the girls brought to trade, so even though it is a new cache it has some McToys already in it. Even though nobody will be the "real" FTF, there are no entries in the logbook so feel free to claim FTF!

The cache was originally placed a month ago when I took her troop out. But due to GPSr problems my coords were way off, and the cache went home with me that same day. Hopefully the coords are better now.

When you find the cache, you may notice a couple modifications to the ammo can. My original idea (which was carried out with the brownies) was to have this be a multi-cache, where the first coord took you to the ammo can, which was locked. You had to find the other waypoints to get the combination to the lock. I decided against this recently as I didn't like the idea of a muggle finding a locked box in the woods. It probably wouldn't be a good thing.
