An easy walk by the side of a public bridleway.
The cache is hidden close to a local beauty spot, famous for its caves. Note the car park is closed but access is staill available from the A60 Mansfield to Worksop Road - But the crags are well worth a visit. Contents of the 3 litre tupperware cache when hidden were a video, book, CD ROM, Noddy toy, clock, monkey with nut, golf ball and various coins - English, French and Yugoslavian, also some web-site print-outs showing the history of the place. There is an information centre/museum which is open from 10.am - 4.30pm Monday - Saturday in February - October and Sunday only from November - January. Hot drinks and toilet facilities are available here. There is also a picnic site - complete with chaffinches! The place is trying to get World Heritage Status - please have a good look round and enjoy!!
