Wildcat Cache Traditional Cache

This cache is temporarily unavailable.

The Seanachai: It looks like your cache has been under the weather for some time. As a courtesy to your fellow cachers, I would ask you to check on this cache as soon as you reasonably can and either confirm that it is in good shape, replace it or archive it, after picking up any geo-litter.

I've added this cache to my watchlist, and I will check back in about 30 days to be sure that the maintenance has been done and to see whether further action needs to be taken. Failure to respond could result in archival of the listing. Please note that geocaches archived by a reviewer or Geocaching HQ for lack of maintenance are not eligible for unarchival.
In the meantime, I have temporarily disabled this listing. When the maintenance is completed, the owner can re-enable the listing by clicking on the link below the cache name. Thank you.

Geocache Description:

This is Wears Valley's first cache. I placed this to open up the area to geocaching. Cache is placed on the Wildcat Nature Trail. The trail begins in Wears Valley Park. The trail switchbacks up a semi-steep hill and has benches to sit on and rest or to just enjoy the area. The park is located behind Wearwood School. Turn onto Wearwood Dr. off of 321, take the road that angles to the left of the school, and pull in behind the school. You may park behind the school by the park sign and walk up the steps or drive up the gravel drive that meets that parking lot. The park has a picnic shelter with grills, a playset down the hill with a baseball diamond, and of course the Wildcat Nature Trail. You are looking for a coin tube with a logbook and a pen inside. The hint below gives the location away due to the awful 50' accuracy of my GPSr, but it is not the best spot for getting a good lock. As always beware of social trails. Have fun and enjoy!
