Local city park area near the lake. It costs $2 or $3 to get into the park but you could hike in from the front gate if you come without kids. But this is an easy cache for bringing the kids. The cache is about a tenth of mile from the end of the parking lot. Walk the trail past where it turns. The new cache location is only a short distance from the main path. When the park is closed during the winter, parking at the boat dock still makes the round-trip only a mile or less.
The cache is a large green ammo can with the official Geocache sticker on it. This cache was desinged by my eight year old son. He loves Lego's. So the theme for the contents of this cache is Legos stuff. We placed a Lego magazine, a Lego brick seperator, Lego basketball trading cards, and a couple of homemade Lego models. For the kids enjoyment, please try to stick to the theme, small homemade Lego models are the most exciting.
