*KEEP AN EYE ON THE WEATHER. IT CAN CHANGE VERY QUICKLY; ESPECIALLY FROM OCTOBER TO MAY.* This is a beautiful spot to hike, camp, picnic or fish. The fall colors are stunning and usually peak around October 1st. Stanley Reservoir is generally accessed from the Air Force Academy or Schubarth Trail. Bring a gps and fishing pole, and enjoy the great outdoors. Take extra caution when trying to access this during the winter months.
