The Longest Day Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Krypton: As there's been no response to my previous note, I assume that the cache is not going to be repaired or replaced, so I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us, and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it

Thanks for your cooperation!

Geocache Description:

60 years ago today (the day that I hid this cache) has been referred to as the Longest Day. On that day, D-Day, thousands of Americans, British, and Canadian troops gave their lives to free the countries of Europe from Adolf Hitler. They are heroes and will never be forgotten. However, these soldiers are not the only ones that have made the ultimate sacrifice for us. This cache, in this larger sense, is to honor all those that have fought for our country. The cache is full of an assortment of patriotic items. For the FTF, there is a nice God Bless America pin in the log bag. After finding the cache, please make sure it is well hidden so as to not be in plain view. Then turn east, walk 25 yards or so, and visit some heroes.Enjoy!
