Gentle slope along miners trail. Remote location with fairly easy access.
This cache is located on the Cache la Poudre Gold mine. Don't worry, it's my gold claim and you have my permission to be here to find the cache. No prospecting, unless you belong to the GPAA. I have left a ammo box that contains a little vial of gold for the first person that locates the cache. There is other items in the cache also. Part of the road to this cache is overgrown and shrubs will scrape the sides of your car. The road itself is in good shape. When you hear the "roar of the falls" you are close.To get in the general area, go just a little east of Seven Cedars Casino on US 101 and take Woods Road for 4.5 miles. Then turn right on overgrown forest service road and go .8 mile. You might want to park here. Then take the road to your left. It quickly narrows down to a foot trail. Follow the foot trail until you get to the cable crossing. The cache is not in the canyon below so don't take risks.
