Several stunning vistas may be enjoyed from this sprawling ridge, but this spot has the finest views of Maridalen, the lake, the city, and the fjord.
The trip is easily done in an afternoon or evening. Recommended starting points are Sandermosen train station (parking) or Snippen railway station (parking can seriously damage your health, judging from numerous threatening signs).
Going from Sandermosen you have the advantage of a bluemarked trail. Turn north at N 60°00.240 E010°49.214.
