This cache is about history and forgotten things. Find the cache and help me learn about West Virginia. Don't forget to bring a question when you come searching!
There is ample parking but watch for traffic when getting out of the car. The cache is a fairly small plastic cylinder painted black. It contains only a logbook and some shards of prehistoric indian pottery found at Cat Point in Florida. Bring your own pen!!! If you want to make a trade you must leave something small and it must be over 50 years old! The coordinates are for the picnic area. To find the cache you must find Thyra. The cache will be just a few feet away. Once you find the cache you must complete three more steps.
1. After you sign the log you must place a question about West Virginia history in the cache container for the next searcher. You will find a question left by the last cacher; remove it and take it with you.
2. After carefully rehiding the cache, walk to the bottom of the hill and cross the little bridge.
3. After posting your find you will have 48 hours to email me and tell me the the question you left in the cache, the answer to the question you found and what you saw on the other side of the bridge. If you do not complete this step I will delete your log. Spoilers will also be deleted.
Bowing to popular demand I will ask you to also put the question you found and the answer to it in your log. Everyone wants to learn about our state and I think that's great! Do not post the question you ask in your log or what you find across the bridge. Thanks for the fun!!!
