Cache in a small, picturesque park on a bluff overlooking the Mississippi River with an excellent view of the river and Rock Island Arsenal. Discretion is needed but you should be able to find the cache with none of the spectators being the wiser. This cache has been placed with permission of the Davenport Parks and Recreation Department.

Start the hunt at the listed coordinates. This is a permanent sign. In LINE FOUR (below “WELCOME!”), count the number of letters in the first four words to get, A, B, C and D respectively.
Next, count the number of letters in the first three words on the BOTTOM LINE to get, E, F and G respectively.
The cache is located at: N41° 31. (C) (C-A) (B), W90° 33. (E-G) (F+G) (C-G). The cache is an Altoid tin wrapped in tape. It contains a log book with room left over for small items such as Where’s George or gift certificates. I added a few buy-one-get-one-free coupons. Take or trade them, Be sure to bring a pen or pencil--I forgot to put one in the cache.
