The Pride of Georgetown is a steam locomotive and coal car from 1923.
The locomotive is a model 2-8-2 Mikado. Longtime mayor J.C. Lowery (my grandfather) was instrumental in placing this train engine here in 1966. The present mayor R.W. Windom (my father) oversaw the trains refurbishment in 2003. You'll be looking for a match safe, please bring a pen to sign the log.
