Auburndale Park covers 10 acres on a quiet, dead-end street in a residential area. The park has a nice picnic/BBQ area, a Big Toy for the kids, a large play field, and a fitness trail. There is no "official" parking area -- just park along the road by the chain-link fence in front of the park.
A great big public thank-you to TheBeez for letting us take their cache. May they find many more places at their new abode -- to wherever they moved.
August 29, 2004. The fern was getting torn to bits and the area was tramped down fairly well. After re-hiding it once in the same spot we were still getting messages about it being found out in the open. Moved it about 60' west.
April 12, 2006. Moved it back into center of park area away from paved trails. Maybe it will last a couple of more years here.
