Tämä on Auttikönkään toinen kätkö.This is a second cache in
Auttiköngäs.
Metsätalous on harjoittanut puutavaran uittoa Auttijoessa jo
1800-luvun loppupuolelta aina 1970-luvulle saakka. Vesireittejä
pitkin uittamalla saatiin puutavara kuljetettua helposti ja
edullisesti. Nykyään Auttijoessa ei ole uittoa, mutta Auttikönkään
uittorakenteet pyritään säilyttämään kulttuurihistoriallisena
nähtävyytenä.
Annetut koordinaatit vievät sinut parkkipaikalle, josta lähtee n.
3,5 km pituinen luontopolku. Kätkön löytääksesi sinun ei tarvitse
kiertää koko luontopolkua. Vihjeet lopullisiin koordinaatteihin
löydät parkkialueen ympäristöstä sekä luontopolun alkupään
tauluista.
Vessan ovien yläpuolella on vinoneliön muotoinen tuuletusritilä.

Between the end of the 19th century and the end of the 1970s log
floating was practised on the Auttijoki. Floating timber was
considered to be very profitable. Although the floating has been
stopped the structures in Auttiköngäs has been preserved as sights
of cultural history.
Given coordinates take you to parking area, where starts about 3,5
kms nature path. You don´t need to walk the path around to find the
cache. Hints for final coordinates you find from near by parking
area and from tables beside the nature path.
There is a ventilation opening above doors of toilets. Count amount
of horizontal bars = I
There is some old floating bar besides an info table and a gate to
the nature path – count these vertical bars = J
