NOTE NEW LOCATION: Located in Shawn Lopez Canyon (the other canyon) within the Los Penasquitos Canyon Preserve. Placed on Father’s Day by my 3-year-old son “Noah” & I. In honor of all geocaching father and son, father and daughter teams.
Parking at the trailhead is open from 6a to 10p. A short ½ mile round trip, fairly easy walk on a wide rocky and sometimes steep jeep trail.The ammo can’s original contents included: The Travel bug “Blackfoot Buckaroo” A couple of music CD’s, a land shark, a map of Disneyland, some green sand from Hawaii, and more of the usual swag.
