If you're in the Cedar City/Brian Head area, this is a nice drive to a scenic pond and historical site. You can drive to within fifty feet of the cache. Road is bumpy/rocky in spots and a high clearance vehicle is recommended.
Take the Lowder Pond exit off of Highway 143 (Forest Service No. 041); follow the road straight through Rainbow Meadow Homes, keep going until you see the remnants of the Lowder Creek Ranch and the pond. Cache is a medium size ammo can.
