Here is where you want to be for one of the best fireworks shows in the metro area.
The area here has hosted an international soccer finals and of course at the 4th of July there is allways a fantastic fireworks display from here. At these and other times of the year there may be wall to wall people. Almost every year for the last 10-12 years the Amateur Radio club I belong to has assisted in the communications and crowd control in the area for the fire works. We guard the perimeter of the drop zone and keep pedestrians out a safe distance from the actual launch plarform. We get the best seats in the house. Once in a great while one very lucky (or unlucky depending on your view of safety) gets to be at the launch site with the shooters. I have thought about putting a cache in this park for months now.
