Geocache Description:

An awesome place to find this cache. 'Flinders Fun' is part one of Charlie Delta's Trek Series. This series is designed for experienced geocachers/hikers. A level of fitness is required to conquer this cache. No special skills or equipment are required. Allow around 2-3 hours return to complete this cache.

This cache as well as the rest of this series is a true geocachers adventure theme. I recommend taking lots of water and you definitely want to take your camera. Be careful of snakes in the warmer months its a perfect habitat for them. I have provided a suggested starter plan below but really you are on your own. Good luck, play safe and I look forward to reading the reports :)

Located at Flinders Park SE QLD.
Directions:
Take the highway to Ipswich, and then take the Cunningham highway. Take this until you reach the Boonah Ipswich road (route 93) follow this road until you reach Mt Flinders road on your left (it has a green conference centre sign above the street sign) Co-ords: 56J S27° 45.833 E 152°44.257. Follow this road to the end to reach the park, it does turn to dirt but its in good condition and doesn’t require a 4wd.
The park has bbq, water and toilet facilities.
Note: Access to the park is only from sunrise to sunset. No animals allowed. No mountain bikes.

To reach the cache:
Park in the car park.
Follow the Mt Blaine Hiking track (it is signed and is to the west behind the toilets). Follow this track until it ends at a fence.
The fence has a metal sign stating: F.P/R.F.B G24. Located at: S27°47.167 E 152°48.188.
Do not cross the fence. Follow it towards the cache to begin and go from there, it was never meant to be easy.

PLEASE REHIDE THE CACHE SO THAT IT CANNOT BE SEEN..
