Geocache Description:

This is a very easy cache just off the side of a paved road in a farming area.

This cache is in an area close to the near by Tethered Aerostat Radar System it is a balloon-borne radar system. The primary aerostat mission is to provide low-level radar surveillance data in support of federal agencies involved in the nation's drug interdiction program. The aerostat is a large fabric envelope filled with helium. It can rise up to 15,000 feet while tethered by a single cable. All radar data is transmitted to the ground station, then digitized and fed to the various control centers for display. Doppler weather radars are installed at all sites. The sites obtain up-to-date forecasts and weather warnings. If you want more Information about this you can do a Google search using keyword aerostat.As always beware of the desert dwellers. This is a very easy cache just off the side of a paved road, if you come in from the north (Hermanas Rd). There are several other ways to get here. This cache was designed to bring you to get a closer look at the Aerostat and wonderful views of the surrounding desert, farms and mountains.Original Contents of the Plastic Frothe coffee canister is the usual goodies and a first finders prize which we will let you tell about when you post your find if you want.
