The little town of Liberty is located just a couple of miles off of Hiway 97 in the vicinity of Blewett Pass. Dirt road at the end of the town.
Small plastic container full of trinkets, this cache is located in Liberty Washington the oldest mining town site in the state. It was originally established as Williams Creek in 1880. Renamed Meaghersville in 1897. In 1912 the post office was moved from Old Liberty on Swauk Creek to Meaghersville and it became Liberty in accordance with post office regulations.
Snowmobiling and gold panning are big here. Have fun...
