Geocache Description:

A great view of Lake Jennings and surrounding areas.

We discovered this preserve after doing some other caches in the area. Lots of dirt roads/trails going every which way. You can get to this cache from the others, but there is a much easier way!Cache is in a ammo box filled with "dust collectors" found in other caches. The environment is bouncing back after the fires in Oct. '03 as well as new homes being built.Parking is at the trailhead: 32 49.339 116 51.767

UPDATE: I checked on the cache today. There is NO Poison Oak near the cache or the approach to it. From the gate, bear rt. on the road until you are close to the cache, and head up a small bunny trail, east side. The area has really come back with a vengence after the fires, so the flowers, weeds, etc. are about 3 ft. tall. Just watch out for our slithery friends, altho, we didn't see any today.
