Geocache Description:

This Cache is located in an area of Luton known as Stockwood Park and is a simple multi cache. The hunt for the cache starts at Stockwood Craft Museum and Gardens. The Museum houses the Mossman Collection, one of Britain's largest collections of horse drawn vehicles. If you like honey, there is an observation hive upstairs just inside the entrance. Also here are activity sheets, crayons and colouring sheets for children.

The Museum is free to all as is the Parking.

Opening times for the museum are:-
April - October :- Tuesday - Sunday ( 10am - 5pm )
November - March :- Saturday & Sunday ( 10am - 4pm )

There are many other things to see, for more information Click Here

The cache can be found without entering the Museum or Gardens.

The cache container is a 3ltr plastic sandwich box.
The cache contains a Log book, Pen, Pencil/sharpener, laminated cache note and a selection of goodies for young and old.
If you have time, we do recommend you visit the museum as it has plenty to see for all ages.

You will need a pencil/pen and a sheet of paper ( gloves might be handy in the Summer ).
The above Co-ordinates are for the entrance to the Park. The road is called Farley Hill ( B4540 ).
Follow the signs to the museum. The speed limit is 15mph so please observe it. Also keep an eye out for the Owl and the Squirrel who are waiting to cross the road.

You now need to gather some numbers from nearby, they will give you the co-ordinates to take you to a tree. This tree and all of the trees in the park has a metal plate with a number stamped into it.

Opposite the entrance to the Museum is a play area, it is site No GH.

Also on the sign is a Post Code :- LUF AHA and a Telephone No 015E2 DC6B33.
