Geocache Description:

This is a reasonably easy 0.6 mile hike with only 200 feet of elevation gain, beginning off Lucas Valley Road and ending in the open space land overlooking Marinwood and Terra Linda. There used to be some very good graffiti here, but alas, the less considerate taggers started spewing black scrawl all over, including on the "art". All that remains are some bright hints on the pavement. Be careful wtih muggles and not to drop the cache. tks.

The easiest route and best parking is to begin at the end of old Lucas Valley Road.at approximate coordinates N38-01.500 W122-34.097 (across from the little Mini Mart.) Head out on the old paved road until a junction with the gravel fire road at coordinates N38-01.489 W122-33.804, then follow the fire road up the to your final destination. You can make your own opinion about the “art” you will pass on the way up. The cache is small pill bottle. NOTE: Once at the cache you can continue on the fire roads for a long scenic hike through the open space. Dogs are permitted off leash and under voice control on the fire roads only, but not on any single track you may reach after the cache. This cache can be easily reached by mountain bike if you are in good shape for the uphill climb. Until I got old with bad hips I had this as a 2 but after checking on the cache I decided to make it a 2.5 haha. Note it is not on the water tower or in the trees/bushes by the edge of the road, as the erosion and po have gotten worse over the years. New hint. Please rehide carefully and securely.
