Geocache Description:

The Adventures of 1Geocacher

The cache is not at the above coordinates.

Please note: Muggled again - After converting the coordinates to WGS-84 subtract 0.014 from the North minutes and subtract 0.009 from the West minutes. I usually try to make a hard puzzle easy to find but since this is the fourth time for this one, it is a small container hanging from a 18" tree (to keep the wild pigs away from it).

Seems like these days every new cache I take a look at begins with The Cache is not at the Above Coordinates. Geeze doesn’t anyone just throw ammo can in the woods anymore?

It seems most of these caches originate in the southwest part of town. I highly suspect the reason for this, is the little known fact that Sugar Land gets their water supply from Oyster Creek. Not to say there are not others that generates these evil caches. There is the seafaring chap from Channelview. A sneaky guy out hwy 290 and the red baron in Tomball are a couple others. Of course it is well known that these people have been caching in Sugar Land . I’m quite sure their affliction has come from drinking the water while caching in the southwest. This affliction is why I do not drink water and instead, bring a pasteurized beverage in a can and a born on date while caching .

While not afflicted with this strange disease I will have to join the cache is not at the above coordinates crowd anyway. The coordinates for this cache are within a little interactive fiction story that you can download:

Alert: You are about to download a file that contains details needed to find this geocache. As the geocache owner, I ensure that this file is safe to download. It has not been checked by Geocaching HQ or by the reviewer for possible malicious content. Download this file at your own risk HERE.

This is a zip file that contains an exe that does not need any installation. Just unzip the file and it is ready to run. I have also included a read me with instructions. The file is fairly large because it has the interpreter for any windows platform. I do not know if it will run on any other platform with a windows emulator. If you try it on another platform and you see text, next check for sound in the first scene. If you do not hear anything the emulator is not reading the html, which you will need for some of the clues.

I have given the cache a difficulty of 4 due to the length and multiple puzzles. Some of you that have played the Zork type of text games may rate it easier. Those that have a hard time building a picture in their mind from a bunch of text may rate it harder.

No further clues will be given, however collaboration and outright cheating is allowed. If all else fails, email me and I might send you some helpful info.

Disclaimer: All characters and locations are completely fictional. Any resemblance to any real characters or locations is merely coincidental.

Sugar Land – game on!

P.S. I think the original IF geocache was the mindchild of Will (9Key). I downloaded his game and never did finish it. Please re-hide the cache as found.
