Along the highway which you'd use with a bow sits a cache that is
yards from our work, where we eat dinner, and where we have
breakfast.
"I've been driving in my indian car, the pound of the wheels
drumming in my brain, My dash is dusty, my plates are expired,
please mister officer let me explain, I got to make it to a pow wow
tonight, I'll be singing 49, down by the riverside, lookin' for a
sugar, riding in my NDN Car. . .We're on a circuit of an Indian
dream, we don't get old, we just get younger, when we're flying
down the highway, riding in our NDN Kars" (NDN KARS--Music and
Lyrics, Keith Secola)
You're looking for a 5" x 5" x 4" rubbermaid type box. If you've
done some of our other caches, the box type will be familiar. Make
sure you unlatch all four sides before removing the top, and do the
same when you put the top back on.
Three unusual things are here which you can enjoy at various times
of the day. In the morning, many a geocacher can be found enjoying
the donuts at the local shop (along with half the residents in the
area.) In the afternoon and early evenings, you might want to bring
your NDN Kar to the local American Indian trading post (yes, it's
actually a real Native American store, but we really do prefer to
be called American Indian.) And if you're hungry, there's a Hong
Kong style Chinese restaraunt which can be pretty packed most
nights.
Cache contents when hidden: Logbook and pen, stone thunderbird
magnet, miniature Indian rug, carved wooden buffalo box, Official
Indian Car bumper sticker, Official Indian Van bumper sticker,
Official Indian Truck bumper sticker, Everybody Powwow bumper
ticker, medicine wheel decal, feather decal, 2 baby abalone shells,
flag feather pin, bone feather earrings, brass turtle pendant.
We'd prefer to keep the cache American Indian themed, so keep that
in mind when making exchanges. I'll leave it to you to figure out
where we work, if you want to say hi and visit. We're there mostly
in the late afternoons, early evenings.
EDITED 10/27/06: Cache is currently not available 24 hours a day
due to circumstances beyond our control. Location has slightly
changed - read notes on cache page for more information!
