This cache is located on the rock wall in a small alcove of the snake river near Hagerman. We reccomend getting to it by boat or canoe, as it will be a very, very difficult journey by foot, requiring some small cliff scaling, and no trail.
The cache is a tupperware container hidden near a small spring. If you continue into the alcove in back of Gridley island you can see a beautiful waterfall where Riley Creek empties into the snake river. It is a gorgeous sight to see the power of the falls and feel the spray on your face. If you travel by boat, make sure you keep your engines extremely low because this area is a NO-WAKE zone. It is important to keep the area quiet and undisturbed because of natural wildlife. If you look closely, you can see the endangered sculpin in the waters, as well as Crayfish, Carp and Trout. Along the Northern Shore there are blackberry bushes that may be in season if you know when to go. Once again, we would suggest the canoe as the recomended way of travel. There is a put in point at Sligers or Owsley bridge. Enjoy the quietness of the river and this secluded little spot on the Snake River.
