Geocache Description:

I put the difficulty level at 3.5 stars because the cache really is not that difficult but it is not obvious to the regular passers-by. The terrain, however, is more difficult. There is a steep hill but if you look closely enough there is a rather easy trail to follow.

You are looking for a regular ammo box that has a few things written on the sides in brght orange paint. If you go to the websites above, you can get a little history of the island and the Battle of Beecher Island. This cache is located on the spot where it is said that thte Native American women and children sat and watched the battle take place on the island below. The original contents of the cache include: A logbook and pencil, a Geocache information sheet, a set of Jacks, a Whoopee cushion, a plastic horse, a plastic bison, 2 plastic spiders, a slinky, a jump rope, a plush snake, 2 golf balls, a container of silly putty, and a deck of cards. Please, like always, if you take something, leave something!!
