Geocache Description:

A short hike off the main trail on a small peninsula.

The cache is in the Cranberry Lake Flooding area of Lake Superior State Forest. It is along the Cranberry Lake ORV Route. The area can be accessed by ATV or automobile. Four-wheel drive may be necessary at certain times of the year. Take in the scenery! This is a beautiful location. The flooding is inhabited by beavers, loons, bald eagles, great blue herons, kingfishers, turtles and loads of other wildlife including whitetailed deer and black bears.The cache itself is a small black ammo can. Several keychains and other trinkets are inside in addition to the logbook.enjoy.
