Short walk + gradual slope = View of the Kennebecasis Valley that most people haven’t seen.
The hill is located in Rothesay. There are many ways to get to the top of the hill, this one is fairly simple.
Drive along the Rothesay Road (Hwy 100). Turn onto Allison Drive [N 45° 22.750’ W 65° 59.902’] . Go to the end of the drive, turn around at the dead end and park on the side of the road, past the "Do Not Park" signs. DON'T PARK AT THE DEAD END. THE OWNER OF THE ADJACENT HOUSE WILL CALL THE POLICE AND HAVE YOU TICKETED. Walk back to the end of the drive and start hiking the trail. After only 60 paces take the trail that swings to the right. Follow this trail through the fields and it will take you to the top of Spy Glass Hill. Many types of wildflowers decorate the fields (see pics). Cache is located on the backside of the hill. Cache is a tobacco can wrapped in camo duck tape. GPSr WAAS accuracy was 1.6m when cache was concealed.
