Cheese Please Traditional Geocache
knitter: Went down on the weekend, and surprised a group of young teenagers smoking in the glen by the cache (and not smoking tobacco, BTW). As they were sitting on the tree, I think I know what happened to the cache. I'm going to archive it as I won't replace it in this location. Thanks to all who visited the cache and museums!

The cache is hidden in one of the two parks creating this green
area. Plenty of parking, easy access, and a good place to spend an
afternoon after finding the cache.
Come and visit our museums! Ingersoll ON was the home of Thomas
Ingersoll, Laura Secord and Aimee Semple McPherson. Our Community
Museum has a spectacular 21 foot long wood carving titled "Pathway
of the Giants". Drop by the Cheese Museum to see the equipment used
in making cheese long ago. Read about our "Mammoth Cheese" which
weighed over 7000 pounds and was displayed at the State Fair in New
York USA in 1866. We also have a working Blacksmith Shop, a Sports
Hall of Fame (where the Miss Canada IV speedboat is displayed), the
Sherbrooke Barn where threshing equipment is shown, the North Barn
containing an apple cider press and the 1949 Dodge Hearse used by
the band "The Tombstones" as their touring car. A stone oven bakes
fresh bread on Friday afternoons during the summer as well. Scenic
trails meander through these parks leading to the Creative Arts
Center (displays open year round from 2-4 pm on Fri, Sat, Sun -
free admission), and camping is available in summer. Museums are
open 10 am to 5 pm in the summer - no charge to tour through them
as well
