Geocache Description:

Located in the Green Area South of Carrot Creek. A scenic 45 minute drive along the Carrot Creek Tower Road. From highway 16, turn S on the Carrot Creek Tower Road and follow to Kilometer 20. Take the left turn and follow the green and yellow 'Wagons West' signs. Watch for oilfield traffic. If you miss the turn, the road ends at the Carrot Creek Fire Tower.

After finding the cache, continue on to the old ranch site.

If Lucy is there, she will tell you about growing up on the ranch as a child in the 1940's. She runs an outfitting company from there and gives free wagon rides on request. This is also an excellent place to camp as there are relatively few mosquitos and several interesting places to explore. This ranch was one of only two ranches in the area with the original land granted to the settlers under the Homestead Act.

The cache is in a sealed ice cream bucket behind a tree stump. The site is approximately 95 m off the road in the forest. The cache originally contained:
- 1 toporama CD
- 2 pencils
- can opener
- potato peeler
- kids toque(washed and clean)
- stuffed toy
-pencil, sharpener, notebook
- kids sunglasses

Please take the time to stop in for a coffee with Lucy. She is very interesting.

Accuracy was at +/- 20 m at the time of placing the cache. Finding the cache may be a challenge until accuracy of the coordinates improves.
