Geocache Description:


This is my second cache placed on Long Island and one I believe you will enjoy as much as my first, Daytripper. The container is somewhat larger than a typical micro - it is a one cup rubbermaid container. I have included a log, pencils, and a sharpener. There is not really any room for trade items. This location is fantastic in an entirely different way than that of Daytripper - a completely different beach type. I have been staying on this island for many years and was just introduced to Wreck Cove a few years ago. I was amazed at how different it is from the other beaches on the island. That is one of the wonderful things about Long Island - each one is unique in and of itself. I hope that you will take the time to visit the island and do this cache along with Daytripper (just down the road a piece!) and I believe that you will be impressed with each of these spots and enjoy their individual beauty. I have increased the terrain only because of the schedule coordination that is required for the ferry ride (http://www.cascobaylines.com/HTML/fr_sailing.htm).
