The Snag

Great little park for the kids with some nice grass for a lunch. Convenient parking lot but small. Lot is easy to miss if you are not watching. Great view of the hills and the bay area. Walk past and pick some luscious black berries (in season only of course) on the way to the trail head. Head down hill on a great hard packed wide trail. This will be a nice shady walk. Will get dark under the trees as you neat the cache. Some really neat but weird flowers growing nearby.
The snag is located about 100 feet off the main trail.
The secondary trail is somewhat hidden but it is a trail - for a while. When in this area you will see deer trails and you should be able to make good use of them - as I did.
This single track trail drops so a deer trail and I would not advise that this cache for small children. YMMV - you be warned.
If you get uncomfortably close to houses you are in the wrong area. You might want to mark your entrance to make sure you get back out easily.
This is a medium TW very well hidden (10x10). There is no PO that I was able to see {my wife won't come if she sees any!}. The secondary trail is somewhat hidden but it is a trail - for a while. The main trail is very steep as it drops to the secondary trail. You might want to stop and pick some of the beautiful large ripe juicy and luscious blackberries on the way in to the trail head or on the back out {I DID!}. You will have to do some climbing in some loose but clear dirt. The area is fairly well covered in trees overhead but I got several very good reading very close to each other. I am hoping that this cache is a little more difficult than some of my earlier caches. This trail is kind of tricky to find so I will leave that as part of the hunt.
