105.5 Traditional Geocache

This cache has been archived.

Nazgul: What a bummer, this was my favorite cache to maintain because of the balancing-act walk to it. Unfortunately, the reports were quite correct: the pipes have been removed, the concrete supports razed, and the entire area around where the cache was has been bulldozed. That's one thorough muggling!

Thanks to all that visited. I'll miss this one, but have plans for a replacement or two. :)

Geocache Description:

Sign only micro from Walruz's "Magnetic Therapy" cache, located at a pleasant spot with a nice view.

If you come at this one from the nearby parking lot over by GCHYQ0, once you walk down to the little bridge you can travel almost exactly 1/10th of a mile to this cache without your feet ever touching the ground! That's how I placed it, and it was a fun stroll. Probably not a good idea when it's wet though, and I'd not want to try it with little kids or pets. Please be safe if you choose the above-ground pathway. A conventional earth-bound approach is optional in any case.

You'll probably want to hop down to retrieve the cache. There's no reason to dig through any plants or anything, and the cache is visible from several angles.

Once the reservoir is full enough from the rainy season, this cache submerges. It doesn't harm the cache or logsheet but expect the difficulty to be much higher! You're better off waiting for the water to recede again. Check recent logs for info.
