Geocache Description:

This cache is located atop Boyles Hill in Springdale, at an elevation of about 59m. This hill is part of a range of steep hills that were created by glacial deposits in prehistoric times.

Town of Springdale from Boyles Hill

Upon arriving at the cache site you will enjoy a breathtaking view of the town itself and of the scenic beauty of our area. This cache is accessable via the Centennial Trail system which is a network of trails running from the cache site down to the east end of Springdale. Drive up Maple Avenue and park your vehicle at the gate. Another route would be to park at the Pelley Inn and walk up the sandy ridge behind the inn. The ridge is a steep climb that drops off sharply on both sides..not suitable for young children. Be sure to keep your eyes open for ATV's travelling on the trail!
