We are going to be camping at Montauk State Park for the weekend. If you don’t camp you could get hotel room at the park or in the nearby towns of Licking or Salem.

There are several caches either in the park or within driving distance of the park. We are planning on a group cache hunt Saturday morning. The planned group hunt will include the existing Montauk caches (to be archived shortly after the group hunt), possibly some other local caches outside the park. We will start on the new caches being placed either Saturday afternoon or Sunday morning, Tim, Pam, and Molly should be able to provide the details there if the new caches are not yet on this site.
We will have a cracker barrel at somewhere in loop 4 of the campground on Saturday night starting around 6:30. Look for the blue geocachers banner or tune your two way radio to channel 2 subcode 33 to find out exactly where we are. You will have to park in the nearby parking lot or at your campsite and walk over to the cracker barrel.
You will have to get your own campsite, we recommend making a reservation because they can fill up pretty fast. Here is the reservation page for Missouri State Parks: www.icampmo.com . If you can’t come for the whole weekend just come for the day.
