This cache is located just off a major highway first entitled Stage Road, then the Jefferson Highway, the Lord Selkirk Highway, and now since being paved carries a number…The view to the northwest from this highway is an endless horizon, supposedly as a result of being at the very bottom of ancient Lake Agassiz, undisturbed by waves.
Hidden on private property WITH permission. WARNING: OWNER does not want people driving on his park grounds.
This cache is dedicated to the memory of the three youth who lost their lives in a ferry crossing nearby. The container is a camouflaged water jug. Handle it with care!
To begin with included within the cache: the Nonsuch travel bug ready to ship out to Britannia’s shores. Several collectable medallions, pins, a homemade wooden token we designed for our cache, a golf utility knife, tees, a Rosenort Credit Union keychain, mini dutch clogs, mini-car, pig snout disguise (feel free to attach pic of you with it in your log), mini-frisbee from our alma mater and a toy car.
