Mini Park Cache (Sunnyside Conservatory) Traditional Geocache

This cache has been archived.

Hemlock: While reviewing a new cache nearby, I noticed this cache which is temporarily disabled. To me temporary means a couple of months or less. This cache has been under the weather for over 6 months. While I feel that Geocaching.com should hold the location for you and block other cachers from entering the area around this cache for a reasonable amount of time I don't think we can do so any longer. Therefore, I have archived this cache.

When/if this cache is replaced, please email me at hemlock@geocachingadmin.com and I'll be more than happy to take a look at your cache again. If it is still is within the guidelines for cache placement and posting, it will then be unarchived.

I want to thank you for the time that you have taken to contribute to geocaching in the past and am looking forward to seeing your cache up and running in the future.

Thanks for your understanding,
Hemlock

Geocache Description:

This is a pretty easy geocache to find... It's my 1st one to hide, so enjoy! Sunnyside Conservatory Mini-Park

The Sunnyside Conservatory Mini-Park is a pretty cool little semi-neglected part of the Glen Park/Sunnyside neighborhoods... It is easily accessible (the 23 MUNI line goes right by it)... While there, enjoy the quiet times - enjoy the flowers - and climb up the back stairs to the street above (Joost Ave.)... Afterwards - head down into the "village" of Glen Park and enjoy a meal or a cup of coffee at one of the few places down there.... Enjoy the hummingbirds, too! SEE THE RELATED LINK below for more information on the Sunnyside Conservatory:
(visit link)

The cache is a 5" diameter plastic mixed nuts jar with a bright red screw-on top. Inside the container is a log, pen, a disposable camera (TAKE A SELF-PHOTO [don't forget to push/hold the "flash" button], then advance the film to the next number, then leave it in the container for other GeoCachers... Several mini toys, photos, objects d'art (ha!), etc. Take what you want - leave what you want... Please replace container where you found it - throw some leaves on top to help conceal it.

See Hints for further information.

Thanks!
Brett

PS: When the film is to the last shot, please let me know so I can replace it... photos to be uploaded as soon as can be done.
