Geocache Description:

'Buryed Treasure 2 - The Hoard' is hidden somewhere between the two Iron Age hill forts of Bury hill and Danebury Ring just south of Andover in Hampshire.

Please note that the published co-ordinates do not indicate the position of the cache. They are only for a possible parking place at the start of a byway. The round trip from here is less than 1km. It is also possible to park near N51* 09.294' W01* 31.424'. This would allow a longer walk of approx 4km.

The actual co-ordinates of the cache can be found in Buryed Treasure 1 - The Hill Fort GCHPAC

The byway is fairly flat and is suitable for cycling. It is possible to drive down the byeway and get within 20m of the cache. Please be careful not to block the byeway if you do this.

The cache contents include some of the original contents of 'Buryed Treasure 1 - The Hill Fort' which is now listed as a micro. We hope you enjoy the views across the fields to the hill fort.
