Park at the Cochrane Ranch Historic Site (gate closes after 10:30 at night). Take the relatively flat trail up the valley and then gain 40 m elevation in the last 150 m.
Brink's Twist was one of over 200 types of barbed wire used by the early ranchers of this area. As a salute to these pioneers, this cache is starting with a cowboy theme. The original contents include lots of cowboy memorabilia and gift certificates. For additional karma points, check out the display in the Stockman's Memorial in the Cochrane Ranchehouse (about 250 m north east of the cache). Feel free to post your favourite type of barbed wire in your log. (Only a cacher with cowboy heritage would actually have a favourite type.)
