Geocache Description:

NOTE: Coordinates changed 8-17-04.

This is an old abandon mine located north of Mono Lake in the Eastern Sierra’s. Access is off Hwy 395 at N38 03.279 W119 09.942 The road is gravel and should be suitable for semi-high (pick-up truck), clearance non-4 wheel drive vehicles. The cache is located below the actual mine near what I believe to be is foundations for some sort of aerial tram. Once you leave the highway, just follow your compass up the hill.

The cache is a small Swiss Mocha coffee container covered with grey duct tape. It contains a log book, little red Jeep-toy, a clothes pin, Hershey Kiss magnet, and duck magnet. Too small for pencil so please brings writing implement.
