Geocache Description:

Downtown Edmonds

One of the main features of downtown Edmonds is the Fountain. No need to give street addresses for the location, if you go to Edmonds you will find it. In the old days the local youngsters had a great time putting soap in the water and watching the fountain spey bubbles all over the intersection. Haven't seen that for a few years, I hope it is because the kids are into kinder endeavors.The cache is in such a public place I honestly worry if it will last a long time. Hundreds of people pass within a foot of it every day. The geocache hunters will have a hard time hunting with all that activity. Either late evening around dusk or very early in the morning might be the best times. Don't try Saturday mornings in the summer when the Edmonds Market is open; there would be a thousand people watching you. To make matters a little worse the cache is quite small, but then again, it would have to be, wouldn't it?
