Cache is a regular sized cache with a hodge podge of items inside. Parking at the southern trail head (at N38, 54.394 W78, 42.882), follow the yellow markings to Tibbet Knob and the cache. When you are almost to Tibbet Knob, you will pass though a grove of rhododendron bushes and a fire ring on the right. It will open up to rock outcroppings on the left with a view. The cache is close to the point where you are leaving the rhodedendron & pine tree covering and where it opens up to the view. The cache site is less than 15 feet off the trail at about 330 degrees, North.
If you use the northern end trail head, take the yellow trail to Tibbet Knob. Once you get to the Knob outcropping, pass the yellow trail marking, double marked on a rock you can walk on. Proceed as if you wanted to continue on the trail past the outcropping, into the pine tree & rhodedendron bush covering. The cache is close to this point of reentry, not more than 15 feet off the trail on the view side, at about 330 degrees north.
