Located in the Okaloacoochee Slough State Forest in Hendry County.
Very large park, easily traveled by vehicles. There is a $2.00 per
person fee to be paid at any one of a number of iron ranger posts

No bushwacking, very short walks required for this 2 stage multi
cache that takes you down Patterson Road to hammock that looks out
over a marsh. The first stage being an un-natural object that will
lead you to an ammo box with some neat stuff to trade out and a
camera to record your visit if you like. There is so much to see
and do in the Okaloacoochee Slough State Forest,as said in other
caches here, deer, gators, turkeys, wild hogs and countless types
of birds can be found throughout the forest. There are dozens (if
not more)of hiking and biking trails here that can make for hours
of exploring and observing nature. Please remember and try not to
block the road whenever you stop to go off on a trial hiking or
biking.
