The cache is located at the Tanglewood Nature Center. There is a fee to use the facilities. The cache is placed along the red trail. You can pick up a map at the kiosk near the trailhead.
You must first go to the main bldg. and sign in the guest register (use your geocache name) to get credit for the find. Tanglewood is open all year. Hours: May1-Oct31 M-Sat 9am-5pm, Sun 11am-5pm. Nov 1 -Apr. 30 M-Sat 9-4pm Sun 11-3pm.There are approx. 9 miles of well marked trails. The cache is within 5 ft of the red trail. No need to bushwack, please stay on the trails. Trails can be very muddy after a rain so be prepared. My design was for you to find all 3 caches at Tanglewood in one loop.(3.2 miles with no tough terrain changes) Allow about 2 hours to complete the tanglewood series. There are very scenic views along the way, you may want to bring a camera or binoculars. Hope you enjoy your hike.
