Anniversary Cache Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

AB4N: I checked on this cache an it looks like it was stollen, possibly by paintball players who have made a mess of the area. May do something here at another time.

Geocache Description:

Located along a walking path in Fletcher Park.

I started geocaching one year ago today and found my first cache in this park. This is a very nice little city park maintained by the city of Cleveland. The walking trails provide some interesting scenery, and this cache takes you to a part of the park that some don't ever walk to see.

The cache is a 30 cal. ammo can located near an old spring house. Kids love to play around this area, so please make sure to cover the cache VERY WELL. Contrary to a couple reports it is not necessary to "dig" for the cache. It is just well covered with natural materials, and not under a "geo pile" of sticks like you often find ammo cans :)
