This would be a great place to bring the family and spend the day. The park has a pavilion with picnic tables, bbq grills, children's play area, 3 short hiking trails, volleyball sand pit, and restrooms.
This cache is just off of one of the hiking trails. It is located in a Rubbermaid container covered with camo tape. The original contents were: Log book with pen and pencil, Willie G travel bug, Bull Shoals Dam 50th Anniversary pin, hand warmer, light stick, top, flag decal, Harley Davidson decal, 50Th anniversary postcard .
The reason the difficulty level was set at a 4, was due to the heavy tree cover. Some of the areas will just send your GPS crazy. Just be patient and follow the coordinates.
