Geocache Description:

You will need a boat to find this geocache, located on what locals call Treasure Island which is in the middle of the Manasquan River. This is the only reason why this has a 5.0 Terrain rating.

Uninhabited Treasure Island is famous for its sandy beaches, cliffs overlooking the Manasquan River, tidal pools, and a rope swing. On the island activities such as swimming, hiking, fishing, seining, swinging, and exploring not only add to the geocaching experience, but offers everyone a great opportunity for a fun and diverse experience. You can discover blueberries, blackberries, and grape vines along the nature trail. Bring your lunch and have a picnic!

This cache is in a blue-lidded tupperware container with kid-oriented goodies, including, balls, a watch, a race car, a lock, silly putty, etc. It is just off the beaten path. Please sign the log book and screw the top on tight before leaving. Good Luck!
