Heres another great rock formation. I spent alot of time here when
I was growing up. It's called Miles Rocks because it is
approximately 1 mile from the Elk County Court House. To start park
at near the top of Euclid ave,Ridgway. The Elk Regional Health
Center is on this street. Please park on the street not in front of
someones driveway, the area at the top on the left is someones
driveway, please don't park here.
There are a few different ways to go.
1.Go to the top of the street and follow the dirt road to 41°
24.884 078° 43.781 and bear left up to the gasline (this is not a
parking area, so please do not park here). Follow the gasline up
over the hill and go left at the third trail (41° 24.692 078°
43.969). Follow this trail until you come to a trail that goes
straight up the hill. This trail will lead you to the Cache.
2. Bushwack, there is a trail straight up from the street. It
kind of fades away. Bushwacking is fairly easy though.
You should now be on what we call sunshine rock. Very nice place
to have a picnic. There are many rock formations around so please
explore the area.
