Bandera is known as "The Cowboy Capital of the World," and since the Hill Country State Natural Area is near Bandera, we named this cache "Cowboy Cache". With this said, the theme of this cache is cowboy related stuff. So if you take something, use your imagination to replace it with an item that is somehow cowboy related. And as everyone knows, cowboys like a challenge, so we tried to make this cache difficult.
The container is a small ammo box and the original contents were:
cowboy bumper sticker
inflatable guitar (what's a cowboy without his guitar?)
a real cowboy bandana
an old horseshoe (for good luck)
Jessie the cowgirl
a cowboy toothpick
a cowboy on a horse magnet
a cowboy postcard prayer
Have fun looking for this cache, but remember that HCSNA is part of the Texas parks system and there is a $3 per person admission charge. Also, there isn't any potable water in the park, so make sure you carry plenty of water with you.
